what r the log files names of  ,app.server jvm logs and application logs?

 me:  which is having application logs?

 me:  what type of ionformation contains systemout & systemerr files generally

 santosh.n16:  any jvm related , appliction server start, stop , hung threads , out of memory  etc

 santosh.n16:  it comes in both .but mostly in systemout

&  i have another doubt

that is i.e

usually in real time what will be max file size of logs will be given

after that max file size what we will do

 santosh.n16:  2 mB with log rotaion of 24 hrs and 3-5 historic file

 santosh.n16:  logrotation is when the log file reaches 2MB it will backup the file as systeout1.log and start updating the systemout.log

historic is the no of backup files it maintanes



open admin console:   -----> trouble shouting--> logging & tracing ----> selcet server (server1)---> JVM logs---> Configuration ( Log file rotation i.e max file size in mb, number of historical file)
